About

1:1 is a journey
OF WELLNESS . BALANCE . AND CONNECTION

MAY YOU BE HAPPY. MAY YOU BE LOVED. MAY YOU BE FREE. MAY YOU BE HEALTHY.

Life should be enjoyed

I try to find small moments in my day, in between work, reading, and writing, where I can pause. I stop everything and soak in the beauty that surrounds me and feel the gratitude.

I fully understand that not everyone “loves” yoga, but there is something for you out there, your own “love”, maybe it is surfing, rock climbing, soccer, swimming, juggling, etc., you get the idea. Taking the time out of your day, everyday, to do what you love is very important.

I started practice yoga in 2010. and made it part of my lifestyle as i saw an immediate result that benefit my mind my body and my soul. I always feel like yoga was part of my life; as a dancer from a young age I see lots of similarities between ballet and yoga; both work on proper alignment, stability, flexibility inner strength and build strong body awareness.

The Power of Practice

Yoga is an invitation to feel good in your body, mind, and heart. The postures may challenge you, but the purpose is simple: to leave your mat feeling lighter, clearer, and more connected.

For a moment, your practice frees you from the noise of life. When you are balancing, breathing, or flowing, there is no room for worries, only presence. This focus brings strength and perspective that stay with you long after class ends.

As you move with intention, space opens in the mind and softness returns to the heart. Over time, yoga shifts the way you walk through the world: steadier, softer, stronger, and more aware of the love within and around you.

Your practice reminds you of what truly matters: presence, kindness, and trust in yourself. Enjoy your next practice. You can.

About food

I believe in eating as close to the source as possible. This means eating lots of fresh, local, and organic fruits and vegetables. Food is meant to be enjoyed and you should enjoy it.

If eating a diet full of fruits and vegetables is foreign to you, I promise that over time you will begin to enjoy the taste of whole foods, and more than that you will begin to crave them. I eat a healthy and love to cook my food. I’m not vegetarian nor vegan but I do think everyone could benefit by eating a little less meat and more vegetables and greens!

Why we meditate

Meditation offers a moment to return to yourself. As the breath slows, the body relaxes and the mind becomes clearer, easing stress, anxiety, and tension. With time, focus improves, creativity opens, and you feel more grounded in your daily life.

This stillness softens the heart. You begin to let go of what drains you and make space for compassion, clarity, and connection. Each session leaves you a little calmer, a little lighter, and more in harmony with yourself and the world around you.
